Energy poverty: one in four homes has damp and 5% of families had arrears in their energy bills in 2021

The values of energy poverty for 2021 in Europe were released, with alarming indicators for Portugal. Not only has the number of people without money to pay their energy bills on time increased but so have families who are unable to keep their homes warm. “And these values still do not reflect inflation and the war”, recalls researcher João Pedro Gouveia
